Over the last year my salesforce objects have started to get particularly large. At one point after adding several new fields Informatica Cloud gave an error that my query was too long to complete the replication task - apprently this was an error from Salesforce. I then had to create two separate tasks one that handled half of the fields from my object and another that handled the other half. On top of this extra work I had to do, the data was split into two tables. I then used the same ID to join both of these tables in a view in my database.

Now the exercise I went through above seems to be exactly the same for any object that goes over this threshold. Wouldn't it be great if Informatica Cloud would detect that my query will be too large and then automatically generate the two tables, view and make the two queries on my behalf? Just one less thing I would need to investigate or worry about.
