We have Informatica Version 9 and runs on windows XP.
In aadmin console both Integrationa and Repository service is up but while we click on integgration service from workflow monitor, we are getting error message as "Can not conenct to Intergration servcie". We restarted the Integration and repository service but still we get same error. We also restarted the server still we are getting the error.
I opened the Workflow Manager but while opening the folder it is hung.
I connnted to database by using SQL PLus and Toad both able to connect to database Oracle.
What could be the problem and how will we resolve it.
Our server was ruiing fine for almost about 6 months without any issues. We just got this error now.

Perhaps a firewall "helping" you?
1) Do you get the same behavior from all client machines?
2) Even when installing the client directly on the server?
3) Can you connect to the repository with other client utilities from same PC?
It was not a firewall issue. The cleint and server in the same PC. We restarted the intg service. When we request the folder access from Wkf mgr, it sends the request to database. But integration service is not taking the response back and was hung. So when multiple times we did request to access folder , database builds up multiple session to send the response but none of the response accepted by Integrationservcie. Don't know why it happened. Seems like we stopped integration service when DB was responding. So we had to disconnect all the connections from database for which the request was fired. That solved issue. Still a question why DB connections were not disconected when we stopped the integrations ervcie.
Check the integration,rep and domain logs.Also try setting the Resilence times for your Repository and integration services,that will help your integration and repo services to with stand beyond any network issues while accessing the database.You can set the resilence time values at domain,respository and integration services level.
