I am trying to setup Oracle CDC using power exchange. Which all servers do I need to intall and configure pwx?
1. Integratiion service running on windows server.
2. Source database is installed on a remote linux server. Which components of power exchange do I need to setup on this server?
3. PC Client runs on a windows client.
Do I need a PWX license key for each of the above systems(Int Service Server, Source DB server, Client PC)?
PWX always needs a license key.
You need to install PWX on Windows to get the PWX Navigator (normally on your desktop or laptop).
You need PWX installed on each PC IS node, so that PC can talk to PWX.
You need PWX installed somewhere, with a PWX Listener running, for PC to use PWX to talk to Oracle.
You need PWXCCL running where PWX Listener is running, to capture changes from Oracle.
You can run PWX Listener and PWXCCL on the PC server, or on the Oracle server, or on some other server.

FAQ: Where should PowerExchange CDC for Oracle components run?
For PWX CDC, we normally recommend that you have Informatica Professional Services onsite for initial training. That is even more critical for PWX Oracle CDC. It is probably the most complicated PWX CDC product.
