I want to remove unused ports in Lookup transformation which are not needed downstream(to improve the performance).
Will writing a SQL ovverride statement which includes used input and output columns will be enough to achieve it?or do i need to include some other steps as well?
In my current scenario all columns are used in lookup even though some columns are not required.
You don't want to some of the ports from Lookup then just unselect out put port for those columns. If you have done any query override then you have to change else not require.
Thanks Veeru for your reply.
I am using SQL override, so will remove unwanted columns from Select statement.
Yes,As suggested by Veeru. Please remove the unwanted column in the SQL override and in lookup ports.
