Informatica session in a debug mode.

Hi Gurus,

            I wanted to know if we can run an informatica session in a debug mode. What I want to know is values assigned to each variable, values of input output ports etc. As in other language can we do this thing ? can we run a session step by step and check the values of various intermediate variables or ports simultaneously ?

Thanks in advance.

Nishant.

    Yes using Debug option u can see the data in each port level.

    Designer --> Mappings(Tab) --> Debugger -> Start Debugger

    Regards,

    Hi Nishant,

    Usually, when you run debuuger, IS service would  show the data transformation in each and every transfrormation available in the mapping one step at a time.  In you case, set  break points on tranformations and use debugger with "use next instance option" or by pressing F10.
