I used filelist with .csv files to populate the table. After loading these files, i got some more files to be loaded.
So what should i do?
Update the filelist with new files names removing old ones? Or
Create another filelist everytime new files come in?
Also, another question, Can we rename 'filelist'?
Add new file names to the list if you want to load the target in incremental fashion (at file level, not at data in the file).
Add all the file names to the list if you want to reload the target, however you need to revert back the data of previous files.
Thanks for the reply.
Do I need to Manually enter all the file names each time they come in or is there any other automated process to do that.
Because adding the file names all the time isn't the practical way.is it?
One of the way to achieve this is,a create a cmd task prior to mapping which has unix script which scheduled to run at timebased (every 2 hrs) and extract the .csv files in the source path to write a file list.Use that file list as source in the mapping at indirect mode.Don't forgot to move the .csv once mapping done.
